Privacy Policy
eleFUNt Games built Capitals Quiz – Guess Country Capital (package com.eleFUNt.CapitalsQuizGuessCountryCapital) as a free, ad-supported app. This page explains what the app collects, who receives it, and what you can switch off.
If you use the app, you agree to the practices described here. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers named below.
The short version
- We ask you for nothing. No account, no name, no email, no sign-up.
- Your game progress stays on your device. It is not uploaded to us.
- Ads and measurement are handled by Google and Unity, and in regions where consent is required you decide what they may do — and can change that answer at any time.
- We operate no servers and hold no database of users. Everything below concerns data that goes to the third parties named, not to us.
Information the app collects
The app does not ask you to provide any personally identifiable information. It does use third-party services that may collect information capable of identifying your device, described in the sections that follow.

Data stored on your device
The app keeps the following on your device only. It is not transmitted to us, and uninstalling the app removes it.
- Your progress: which capitals you have answered correctly, and how often.
- Your best scores for each region.
- Your settings: chosen language, music and sound volume.
- Your hint count and the date hints were last granted.
- Whether you have been shown the review prompt, and how many rounds you have played.
- Whether you have switched usage-data sharing off.
Advertising, and your consent
The app shows ads supplied by Google AdMob: one full-screen ad after a finished game, and two optional ads you can choose to watch in exchange for hints or an extra life. Google may use a resettable advertising identifier to select and measure those ads. You can reset or delete that identifier in your Android settings.
Where the law requires it — in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — the app shows Google’s consent dialog before requesting any ad, and no ad is requested until you have answered it. Your answer determines what Google’s advertising partners may do with data from your device.
You can change or withdraw that answer at any time, without uninstalling the app: open Options and tap Privacy settings. The same dialog opens again and your new answer replaces the old one. This row appears only in regions where the consent dialog applies.
Usage data, and how to switch it off
The app includes Unity’s analytics service, which can record how the app is used — for example that a game was started or finished — together with technical information about the device such as its model, operating system version, country and a Unity-generated installation identifier. This is used to understand how the game is played and to improve it. It does not include your name, email address or contact details, because the app never has them.
Nothing is recorded until the consent question above has been settled, and nothing is recorded if you have switched it off.
To switch it off: open Options and turn off Share usage data. Turning it off also asks Unity to delete the data already associated with your installation, not merely to stop collecting more. You can turn it back on at any time.
Google Play Games
If you sign in to Google Play Games, the app can unlock achievements and submit your scores to leaderboards under your Play Games profile. That profile and its visibility are managed by Google, not by us — see Google’s policy linked above. Signing in is optional: the game is fully playable without it, and your scores are then kept only on your device.
Crash and error information
The app does not run its own crash-reporting service. If the app stops responding, Google Play may collect a crash report from your device under its own terms and show it to us in aggregated form through the Play Console. That collection is governed by Google’s policy and by your Android settings, not by this app.
Permissions the app requests
The app requests internet and network-state access, permission to keep the screen awake during a game, and the advertising permissions required by Google’s ad libraries. It does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, storage, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi state.
Service providers
We use the third-party companies named above to serve advertising, to provide achievements and leaderboards, and to help us understand how the app is used. They receive data from your device in order to perform those functions and are obliged not to use it for unrelated purposes. Each is responsible for its own handling of that data under its own policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the data held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, to receive a copy of it, and to complain to your data protection authority.
Because we hold no user database ourselves, these rights are exercised through the providers that do hold data, and through the switches in the app. The next section, Deleting your data, sets out each route step by step. For anything not covered there, write to us and we will tell you where it belongs.
Deleting your data
We hold no user database of our own, so there is nothing on our side to delete. What exists is held either on your device or by the providers named above, and each has its own route.
Usage data collected by Unity. Open Options and turn off Share usage data. This does two things: it stops any further collection, and it asks Unity to delete what is already associated with your installation. The request is retried automatically until it succeeds, so it still takes effect if you are offline when you switch it off.
Advertising data held by Google. Open Options and tap Privacy settings to withdraw or change the consent you gave. You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier in your Android settings, under Settings › Privacy › Ads, which detaches future advertising data from the previous identifier. Requests about data Google already holds are handled by Google under its own policy.
Achievements and leaderboard scores. These belong to your Google Play Games profile and are managed by Google. You can delete your Play Games data for individual games from the Play Games app, under your profile settings.
Everything stored on your device. Uninstalling the app removes your progress, scores and settings. This cannot be undone and we cannot restore them, because we never had a copy.
Anything else, or if the steps above do not work for you: write to contact@elefuntgames.com with the subject Data deletion. Tell us which app you are writing about and, if the request concerns advertising or analytics data, roughly when you used the app. We will act on it ourselves where we can, and tell you exactly where to send it where we cannot — we will not simply forward you on without an answer.
Security
We value your trust and use commercially acceptable means to protect any information we handle. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The app and this page may link to sites we do not operate, including the policies listed above. We have no control over their content or practices and encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Children’s privacy
This app is not directed to children. It is not distributed through Google Play’s Families programme, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. In the European Economic Area, the minimum age for consenting to data processing is 16 in some countries and as low as 13 in others; where a lower age applies, a parent or guardian’s consent may be required.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to one of the services named above, please contact us and we will help you direct the request to the right provider.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are published on this page and take effect from the date shown below. Where a change materially affects what is collected, we will say so in the app’s release notes on Google Play.
This policy is effective as of 2026-08-21. It replaces the version dated 2021-01-11.
